You will start your journey toward the country's central highlands. Along the way, you will capture beautiful landscapes as the road winds through the mountain ranges. At sunrise, take a refreshing stroll around majestic Kandy Lake to capture stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After breakfast, head over to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. With a rich history spanning over 600 years, this sprawling haven is home to more than 4,000 plant species and is world-renowned for its spectacular orchid collection. Next, you will visit the country’s first multi-religious sanctuary, famous for the striking Ambuluwawa Tower, where you can capture breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the central highlands. From there, head to the Nelligala International Buddhist Centre. This stunning, modern hilltop monastery beautifully showcases the living history of Kandyan Buddhist culture.
